Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies or Toll House Cookies are an all-time favorite in many families. Some like a chewy cookie, some like them a little
crunchy.
You can vary the recipe by adding different kinds of nuts to your cookies, coconut, or some other variety of your choosing.
How-to Bake Perfect Cookies: In baking great cookies you always want to pre-heat your oven, this goes true with any baking really.
Sometimes beginners may forget to do that until the cookies are on the cookie sheet. Of course you can still heat the oven then, but pre-heating
the oven is a little timesaver tip.
If you want chewy chocolate chip cookies you may want to experiment with the placement of your oven rack. If you place the rack in the center
and reduce a few minutes to the cooking time, that will make chewy cookies.
If you like crispy chocolate chip cookies, then use the lower oven rack and use the suggested baking time. Of course oven temperatures do
vary, so you may want to experiment. You can place a few on your cookie sheet and test them out if you are making a large batch, and want them to
be the same.
