Grandma's Fabulous Cinnamon Rolls

I guess you can call these semi-homemade Cinnamon Rolls because as you can see it calls for a yellow cake mix.  This is my grandmothers recipe and I can only tell you, these are wonderful.

So we will refer to these as quick and easy Cinnamon Rolls, because the cake mix does make this a simple recipe to make.

Ingredients:
2-1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. yeast
1 reg. size yellow cake mix
4-1/2 c. flour

Cinnamon mixture:
½ c. margarine
3 t. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar

Glaze:
1 box powdered sugar
½ c. milk
vanilla
salt

Instructions:
Mix yeast into lukewarm water until completely dissolved. Add cake mix, blend well and then work in flour. Let rise once about 45 minutes. Roll out into a rectangle shape.

Sprinkle dough with the cinnamon mixture until covered and then roll up into large roll.  You can work with the dough a bit to tuck under the edges if needed. Cut into two inch wide pieces and lay rolls in greased baking dish. Bake at 400° until done inside. Glaze with powdered sugar glaze while hot!
