Homemade Egg Noodle Recipe
This is a really easy Homemade Egg Noodle recipe and it is fun to make too. When my grandmother and I would make these egg
noodles, it was a great opportunity to talk about everything.

These egg noodles taste so great as they are fresh and really good in a Chicken or Beef Noodle Soup. Just follow these
directions for a simple Homemade Chicken Soup Starter as well.
Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
2 T. milk
½ t. salt
1c. flour
Instructions:
Combine egg, milk and salt. Stir in enough flour to make stiff dough. Cover and let stand a few minutes.
On a floured surface, roll dough in a thin rectangle. Let stand 20 minutes, Roll up loosely and cut noodles into ½ inch
slices.
Unroll, cut in desired lengths and spread out to dry for 2 hours. Now your noodles are ready to be added to your favorite soup
recipe.

NOTES:
Grandma adds a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup and 1/2 can of evaporated milk to the Beef Noodle Soup when adding the homemade
egg noodles.
As I grew older, I could talk to my Grandma about anything, because we built a bond doing simple things like making homemade egg noodles
together. Talk about a delicious Chicken Noodle Soup made with her homemade egg noodle recipe on a cold winter
