Pauper's Pizza Crust Recipe
Here are a couple of really quick and easy pizza dough recipes. You can make your homemade pizza crust thick or thin the way you get it
from the pizza parlor, by the way you spread your crust in the pan.
The pizza dough crust is really easy to work with once you knead it and let it rise or rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. Add
your favorite meats, toppings, cheeses and have a great family home-cooked meal. You control the ingredients and the fun!
Ingredients:
1 c. buttermilk
1 T. sugar
2 T. butter
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. flour
1 t. salt
¼ t. soda
Instructions: Combine milk, sugar, and butter in large saucepan; heat to lukewarm. Remove from heat. Add yeast, stir to
dissolve. Stir in dry ingredients just until the dough no longer sticks to the side of the bowl.
Knead the dough gently and then drizzle a Tablespoon of vegetable oil over the dough until covered. Let rest 10 min. and
divide into 2 parts. Grease pizza pans. Spread the dough gently and evenly accross pizza pan until completely stretched to the edges.
Add your favorite toppings. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes.
Quick Pizza Crust For 4
1 pkg. yeast- dissolve in 3-1/2 c. water.
Add 1 T. salt and 2T. oil or shortening.
Add enough flour to make dough. Knead. Let rest.
