White Wedding Cake Recipe

This Wedding Cake is very simple and tastes great. Many people experiment by adding chocolate, perhaps for a Grooms Cake. But typically this is the recipe we use as is.

Our daughter got married almost 15 years ago and my husband and I planned the wedding ourselves. It was so much fun and everything turned out wonderful.

I did not however, bake the cake myself, I left that to the experts at decorating. If you are planning a wedding though, and you DO want to bake and decorate the cake, this is a good recipe.

Weddings should be a happy time, and if you are responsible for baking the wedding cake, take some time beforehand and make it a few times so you can get it just right. Enjoy.

A Wedding Cake Recipe can also be used for other special occasions.  For example, my niece baked and designed a beautiful cake for our parents 50th anniversary party.  Here is a picture of that beautiful cake, made using a similar recipe.
